SHOCK WAVE It's really acoustic
"Shock wave" therapy is not an electric wave. It is a wave that is generated by a small explosion surrounded by water. The wave travels through the water and transmits through a coupling gel to the body. This coupling allows the energy of the wave to travel deep to the area of injury and pain.

An acoustic (shock) wave created by an explosion has unique energy and properties.
compared to an acoustic (sound) wave

Acoustic (sound) waves are low-amplitude, longitudinal pressure waves traveling only at the speed of sound, while acoustic shock waves are high-amplitude individual pulses traveling at supersonic speeds with an abrupt pressure spike followed by a negative pressure phase that creates microporation.
It is the unigue waveform and the energy it delivers that gives focused shockwave therapy it's power to heal.

So...what's the use?!
Injury to soft tissue such as tendon, ligament, muscle and fascia.
accelerates bone healing
enhances muscle function and growth
facilitates nerve regeneration-peripheral neuropathy, nerve pain
sexual function and urinary control, too !

INTRAVENOUS THERAPY ALLOWS DIRECT ACCESS TO YOUR BODY
without relying on intestinal absorption
